Mobile Notary Services
Convenient, appointment-only notary services at your location
At Sun Star Notary, we offer mobile notary services for clients who need a notary to come to them. Whether you’re at home, at work, or another agreed-upon location, our mobile service provides a convenient solution when visiting the office is not an option.
Mobile notary services are available by appointment only and are subject to availability and travel considerations.
What We Notarize
Our mobile notary services cover many of the same documents notarized in-office, including but not limited to:
Affidavits and sworn statements
Powers of attorney
Acknowledgments and jurats
Travel and consent letters (including DS-3053)
Immigration-related supporting documents
Business and personal agreements
Certain real estate and property-related documents
All notarizations are performed in compliance with Texas notary law and applicable requirements.
What to Expect for a Mobile Appointment
To ensure a smooth mobile notarization:
All signers must be physically present at the appointment location
Documents must be unsigned and signed in the notary’s presence
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for each signer
Appointments must be scheduled in advance
Please ensure a suitable, safe location for the notarization
For full details, please review our Notary Policies & Requirements.
Travel fee & Additional charges
Mobile notary services include a travel fee, which varies based on distance, location, time, and complexity of the appointment.
Additional fees may apply for:
Extended travel distances
After-hours or time-sensitive appointments
Documents requiring additional time due to length or complexity
All applicable fees will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
Service Area
Mobile notary services are available in Midland, Texas, and surrounding areas. Travel fees are based on distance, location, and time required and are calculated as a round trip from our office.
To ensure fair and transparent pricing, travel fees are structured in tiers depending on the number of miles traveled. Short-distance appointments near our office are typically lower-tier, while longer-distance or out-of-area appointments fall into higher tiers.
Because travel requirements vary, exact travel fees are confirmed prior to scheduling. Clients are encouraged to contact us in advance to verify availability and applicable travel fees.
Consultation Services
If you are unsure whether your document can be notarized or need help understanding the process, we offer paid consultations to review requirements and set expectations before your appointment.
Consultation fee: $25
Once booked, please call our office to verify your appointment.
